Saudi Electricity rebrands to Saudi Energy

Saudi Electricity Co. completed regulatory requirements and procedures for changing the company’s name to Saudi Energy Co., following shareholders’ approval during the extraordinary general meeting (EGM) held Feb. 25, 2026.

The new identity implies the company’s expanding strategic role in the national energy sector and further highlights its commitment to serving as a key national energy enabler, the utility said in a statement to Tadawul.
