The Saudi Tourism Authority’s board appointed Ageel Alshaibani as CEO, effective today.
Alshaibani previously served as Deputy Minister of Tourism for Strategic Planning and Monitoring, where he contributed to the development and implementation of the National Tourism Strategy.
He was also involved in a number of strategic initiatives and projects aimed at developing the tourism sector and achieving its targets, according to Saudi Press Agency (SPA).
Alshaibani previously served as Head of Strategy at the Mohammed bin Salman Foundation (Misk), in addition to holding positions across several other fields.
