Ajman Department of Finance Strengthens Digital Readiness with Global Certification in Technology Infrastructure

Reflecting its leadership in adopting global best practices in digital transformation and advancing the technological infrastructure of financial services, the Ajman Department of Finance has obtained the “Certified Government Digital Infrastructure Organization (InfraPass) – CGDIO, Level 4 – Managed” certification, awarded by the international assessment body Studio X. The certification recognises the Department’s advanced level of maturity in digital infrastructure and the effectiveness of its adopted technical systems.

 

This accreditation underscores the Department’s capability to build an integrated digital financial ecosystem characterised by stability and efficiency, supporting business continuity and enhancing the utilisation of data to inform financial decision-making. It also reflects a strong commitment to implementing international frameworks and standards in the development and sustainability of digital infrastructure.

 

The assessment results highlighted significant progress across key digital readiness indicators, including systems integration, the flexibility of technical solutions, and infrastructure management efficiency. These advancements have contributed to elevating institutional digital maturity and strengthening the Department’s ability to meet the evolving requirements of smart government transformation.

 

H.E. Marwan Ahmed Al Ali, Director General of the Department of Finance in Ajman, stated that this achievement embodies the Department’s vision to build an advanced digital financial environment that supports government innovation. He said: “Receiving this international accreditation reflects our success in developing a flexible and advanced digital infrastructure for government financial services, capable of supporting the digital transformation journey and enhancing government efficiency. It also demonstrates our ongoing commitment to adopting global best practices to improve service quality and achieve institutional sustainability.”

 

He added: “The Department remains committed to adopting flexible digital solutions that elevate operational efficiency and improve customer experience, under a strategic direction focused on sustainability and digital governance. This achievement further reinforces the Department’s position as a leading entity in supporting the Government of Ajman’s vision to accelerate digital transformation through investment in advanced technologies and the adoption of innovative business models that enhance quality of life and strengthen the Emirate’s competitiveness.”

 

For his part, Abdulrahman Saeed Qasem, Director of the Strategy and Project Management Office at the Department of Finance in Ajman, stated that this achievement reflects the integration of efforts in developing the digital financial ecosystem in line with international methodologies, supporting Ajman’s vision to build a smart government driven by innovation and advanced technologies in delivering integrated and efficient financial services.

 

He added: “We continuously work to align digital practices with government directions by implementing high-impact projects that enhance financial systems, improve service quality, and support data-driven decision-making. We are also committed to advancing the maturity of our digital infrastructure by adopting international measurement frameworks and standards, ensuring the development of a flexible and secure technological ecosystem that supports innovation and accelerates digital transformation.
