NWC Signs 2 MoUs and Announces 2 Agreements at “LEEP 2026” Conference

The National Water Company (NWC) signed two memoranda of understanding (MoUs) and announced concluding two strategic agreements during the “LEEP 2026” conference, hosted in the capital city of Riyadh from August 31 to September 3, 2026. These partnerships aim to accelerate digital transformation and leverage smart systems and solutions to enhance the efficiency of operations and improve the quality of water and environmental services provided to beneficiaries across the Kingdom.

The company explained that these strategic partnerships reflect its commitment to building an integrated digital infrastructure, developing innovative technological solutions that support operational activities, and enhancing the customer experience by providing integrated services, thereby supporting the objectives of Saudi Vision 2030 in achieving water and environmental sustainability.

NWC also announced that it has signed a memorandum of understanding with “FlyAkeed” to strengthen cooperation in developing, planning, and integrating business travel solutions; supporting the user experience; and integrating with travel service providers and related systems – including booking tools, application programming interfaces (APIs), and internal systems – thereby contributing to increased spending efficiency and streamlined administrative processes.

The company also signed a second MoU with Etihad Go Telecommunications to explore and develop opportunities for cooperation in cloud computing and data center services, including hosting, colocation, hybrid cloud models, data storage, and related solutions, thereby enhancing scalability, increasing flexibility, and improving service continuity and availability.

As for the agreements, NWC signed an agreement with Zain Saudi Arabia to enhance the company’s operational communications system by implementing an advanced cloud solution that improves call management efficiency, communications privacy, and reliability, thereby supporting rapid response times and the quality of services provided to customers.

The company also signed a second agreement with Google Cloud to build a secure digital infrastructure for its operations in the water sector, supporting the Kingdom’s digital transformation initiatives and strengthening cooperation with the private sector to develop business models. NWC stressed that these partnerships reflect its strategic direction toward leveraging technology and data as key enablers for the development of the water and environmental services sectors and for increasing the efficiency of operations, thereby meeting customer expectations and supporting the sector’s objectives.
