Arabian Internet and Communications Services Co. (solutions) signed a contract with Saudi Aramco for a supercomputing project dedicated to exploration and production, valued at SAR 1.4 billion (including VAT), according to a statement to Tadawul.
The one-year contract involves establishing advanced high-performance computing infrastructure to support Saudi Aramco’s digital capabilities in oil and gas exploration and reservoir analysis.
The project comprises two interconnected supercomputing systems operating as a unified platform to process massive data volumes efficiently, leveraging advanced technologies provided by leading global HPC providers.
The infrastructure is expected to enhance data analytics and subsurface imaging capabilities, enabling faster and more accurate insights to support exploration and development activities.
solutions will deliver the project on an end-to-end basis, including system deployment, software licensing, and managed services and operations throughout the platform’s lifecycle, reflecting the continued strengthening of its strategic partnership with Saudi Aramco in advancing digital infrastructure for the energy sector.
The relevant financial impact is expected to be reflected starting from Q1 2027.
