"Oncoclinic" Enhances Breast Cancer Awareness Efforts and Places Patient Care at the Forefront of Its Priorities

In conjunction with the month of October, which annually witnesses Breast Cancer Awareness campaigns around the world, "Oncoclinic"emphasizes the importance of raising awareness of this disease and promoting a culture of early detection and periodic examinations, as they are among the most important means that contribute to detecting breast cancer in its early stages, allowing treatment to begin in a timely manner and increasing the chances of achieving better therapeutic outcomes.

Early screening for breast cancer raises the cure rate to more than 90%, as it is an essential step in the journey of prevention and treatment. Regular examinations, primarily mammography, can detect changes or indicators of the disease before symptoms appear in many cases, which helps medical teams evaluate the condition early and develop an appropriate treatment plan. Periodic examinations also contribute to reassuring women when normal results appear, and support health awareness and continuous follow-up.

Breast Cancer Awareness campaigns during the month of October come to emphasize the importance of recognizing risk factors and symptoms that require consulting a doctor, including the appearance of unusual lumps or changes in the breast, or changes in the skin or shape of the breast, in addition to emphasizing the importance of periodic examination according to the doctor's recommendations, health condition, and risk factors for each woman.

In this context, "Oncoclinic" provides an integrated and specialized system for women's health and breast cancer services, starting from risk assessment, through advanced imaging services, including mammograms, ultrasounds, and breast MRIs, to rapid diagnosis, image-guided biopsies, molecular pathology, comprehensive cancer staging, and the development of specialized treatment plans.

The therapeutic system at "Oncoclinic" includes the treatment of breast and gynecological tumors, radiation therapy, chemotherapy, immunotherapy, targeted therapy, hormonal therapy, and precision oncology, in addition to providing

access to an international second medical opinion, as well as nutrition services, psychological support, and physical therapy. It also offers medical care and integrated physical therapy for those suffering from tissue swelling caused by lymphatic system dysfunction, which often occurs after tumor surgeries or radiation therapy, along with improving their quality of life in terms of intimacy and health, supporting cancer survivors, and providing long-term follow-up.

"Oncoclinic" also features a dedicated women's department, designed to provide a therapeutic environment that considers privacy and comfort, through dedicated service rooms, including breast imaging services, women-specific procedures, specialized nurses, and

multidisciplinary care, and a personalized treatment pathway for each patient. The department includes the best national healthcare professionals with extensive and specialized experience in oncology.

Breast Cancer Awareness efforts are not limited to the medical aspect alone, but extend to enhancing community support for affected women and survivors, and providing reliable health information to patients, their families, and the community. This contributes to reducing fears associated with the disease, and encouraging women to take proactive steps towards their health and consult specialists when any unusual symptoms or changes appear.

On this occasion, the CEO of "Oncoclinic" Dr. Mohammed Fehan Al-Otaibi said: "October represents an important occasion to renew our commitment to raising awareness about breast cancer, and emphasizing the importance of early detection and regular screenings. We also affirm the commitment of 'Oncoclinic' to providing the latest technologies, devices, and medical equipment, and offering advanced treatment options within an integrated system that considers the needs of each patient. This includes providing a specialized women's department that ensures the highest levels of privacy and comfort, alongside a multidisciplinary medical team that works to develop a personalized treatment pathway for each case, based on our conviction that integrated care and continuous support represent an essential part of the patient's journey towards recovery."

It is worth noting that "Oncoclinic" clinics in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, fully owned by Al Faisaliah Group (AFG), provide, in collaboration with the Dana-Farber Cancer Institute affiliated with the Harvard University Medical Group, an integrated system for treating various types of cancer under one roof. This includes diagnostic, treatment, and supportive care services, which enhances the integration of the journey of patients and their families in accordance with advanced medical standards and practices.
