Dr. Matteo Vigo Brings Breast Tissue Preservation to the Forefront of Modern Breast Aesthetics

The Dubai plastic surgeon explains how Mia Femtech and Preservé support less-invasive, anatomy-conscious breast enhancement.

DUBAI, United Arab EmiratesDr. Matteo Vigo, a leading plastic surgeon with more than 20 years of experience, is highlighting tissue preservation as an important principle in modern breast aesthetics, supported by Mia Femtech® and Preservé™.

Breast tissue preservation focuses on proportionate enhancement while limiting unnecessary disruption to breast anatomy and supporting structures. The objective is not simply to add volume, but to plan around each patient’s tissues, proportions, lifestyle, and long-term wellbeing.

Mia Femtech is designed for breast harmonisation through a minimally invasive, tissue-preserving approach and subtle volume enhancement. Preservé applies related advances to a wider range of procedures and implant sizes, including primary augmentation and selected mastopexy-augmentation cases. Eligibility requires individual surgical assessment.

“Breast augmentation should not be judged only by the size or appearance of the final result,” said Dr. Vigo. “How we respect the patient’s tissues during the procedure is equally important. Tissue preservation means working with the existing anatomy, limiting avoidable disruption, and planning an enhancement that remains proportionate to the individual.”

Dr. Vigo’s breast-surgery experience began during specialist training in Verona and continued throughout his career in Dubai. He became the UAE’s first Mia-licensed doctor and subsequently contributed as an international trainer, speaker, brand ambassador, and medical advisory board member.

“Mia and Preservé represent an evolution in how surgeons can think about breast enhancement,” Dr. Vigo added. “They are different solutions for different patients, but both reinforce the same philosophy: precision, careful patient selection, and preservation of the natural structures wherever clinically possible.”

Neither technique suits every patient or objective. Consultation is necessary to evaluate breast tissue, skin quality, anatomy, desired volume, medical history, and whether an alternative approach would be more appropriate.
