His Highness Saudi Minister of Culture and Istituto Marangoni Announce the Launch of Bachelor’s and Master’s Programs in The Riyadh Campus

His Highness Prince Bader bin Farhan Al Saud, Saudi Minister of Culture and Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Fashion Commission, announces the expansion of Istituto Marangoni’s programs in the Kingdom for the Saudi Fashion Commission. Following the opening of its Riyadh campus, which initially introduced diploma programs and professional courses, Istituto Marangoni is now expanding its academic offering to include bachelor’s and master’s degree programs, in a step that advances specialized fashion education in the Kingdom.

His Highness Prince Bader bin Farhan Al Saud said:

“We look forward to this partnership further empowering Saudi talent and strengthening the Kingdom’s engagement with leading cultural academic institutions, contributing to the continued growth and sustainability of the cultural sector and strengthening the Kingdom’s position as a global hub for creativity and culture.”

Under the Cultural Scholarship Program, a Saudi Ministry of Culture program aimed at supporting Saudi students pursuing their education across cultural and creative disciplines at approved institutions, Istituto Marangoni’s Riyadh campus has been designated by Royal Order as an approved institution for domestic scholarships.

Applications for the Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees in Riyadh will commence on the 8th of October 2026, and will remain open until November 4th, 2026, with the academic semester beginning in January 2027. The Bachelor’s program will introduce four academic majors for undergraduate students: Fashion Design & Accessories, Fashion Communication & Image, Fashion Management & Digital Communication. At the graduate level, the program will offer a Master’s degree in Fashion & Luxury Brand Management.

Burak Çakmak, CEO of the Saudi Fashion Commission, said:

“Building a world-class fashion ecosystem requires investing in talent at every stage of the journey. This next phase of our partnership with Istituto Marangoni strengthens the pathways available to creatives, connecting advanced education with international expertise, industry, and opportunities.”

Stefania Valenti, Managing Director of Istituto Marangoni, said:

“Being entrusted with the opportunity to offer Bachelor’s and Master’s programs in Saudi Arabia is both an honor and a significant milestone for Istituto Marangoni. This important achievement will further enable us to offer the Istituto Marangoni, Riyadh Campus, students the same academic excellence, globally recognized degree qualifications, and international network that have distinguished Istituto Marangoni for over ninety years. Our ambition is to empower the next generation of creative talents and luxury professionals, equipping them with the skills, vision and expert outlook needed to succeed on the global stage.”

The expansion of this partnership underscores the Saudi Ministry of Culture’s continued commitment to advance creative education and strengthen opportunities for the next generation of local talent across cultural sectors. Building on the foundations established through the existing MoU between the Saudi Fashion Commission and Istituto Marangoni, signed in 2024, to further advance fashion education and development, this expansion upon the partnership reflects a shared commitment to creating stronger pathways between education, industry, and international fashion networks.

It further strengthens access to specialized learning for talents, while supporting the continued development of a skilled and internationally connected fashion workforce. This reflects the Saudi Fashion Commission’s commitment to advancing fashion education and nurturing the next generation of Saudi talent, in support of the National Culture Strategy and Saudi Vision 2030.
