As part of the second phase of the strategic water plan for the capital, Riyadh, the National Water Company (NWC) announced the completion of a main water lines project at a total cost exceeding 81 million Saudi Riyals.
The company explained that the project involved extending main water lines of various diameters, totaling over 48 kilometers, to serve 40,000 people in Areedh plots, southern Riyadh. NWC noted that the project is part of its ongoing efforts, implementing strategic plans to develop infrastructure in the water and environmental services sectors.
The company affirmed that it is accelerating efforts to implement infrastructure projects and enhance operational efficiency. These efforts aim to improve the quality of services provided, keep pace with the growing demand for water, and align with the comprehensive urban development taking place in Riyadh. NWC noted that these efforts aim to achieve the company's strategic goal of providing sustainable water services in accordance with Saudi Vision 2030.
